A 30-year veteran of the music scene, CEO Robbe Hardnette founded Streexb Studio in May of 2016 as an extension of the StreetBeat Entertainment Group (an American company started in Portland back in 1994). The company had a vision to provide the tools and fundamentals to help young musicians and independent artists. The StreetBeat Entertainment Group soon launched a magazine to promote emerging indie talent, in addition to its online resources, which also includes its own radio station. Eventually, Robbe discovered a need to supplement the brand with a brick and mortar presence. In the fall of 2011, the StreetBeat Entertainment Group brought its grass roots mentality and industry savvy to Canada, moving its corporate office to “Hollywood North” Vancouver, BC. Today the StreetBeat Entertainment Group retains satellite offices in Portland, OR and Houston, TX.
In Streexb Studio, Robbe, along with vice president Jaymie Garcia, have created a true “place of engagement.” It is an environment dedicated to fostering young talent and creating opportunities within the entertainment industry.
